The office of Religious Education of St. Michael's Church will enable people to grow in the knowledge of God through increased understanding of the Bible and the basic teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, to respond to God's love expressed through Jesus Christ by meaningful participation in the sacraments and to grow in fellowship and discipleship as they are encouraged to discover and use their spiritual gifts in the service of one another and the world. Saint Michael's Prayer Chain St. Michael’s has a Prayer Chain consisting of approximately 75 members, who are on call to pray for urgent prayers for parishioners or family members. If you are in need of their assistance, please call Jen at the rectory office at 732-222-8080, Ext. 11. How to Pray The Rosary Pope Paul V said" The rosary is a treasure of gifts". Pope John XXIII spoke 38 times about our Lady and the Rosary, he prayed 15 decades daily. Our Lady has 117 titles. She selected this title at Fatima: "I am the Lady of the Rosary." CCD Registration forms for 2010/2011 were mailed out. If you did not receive one please pick one up at CCD asap! If you are facing any financial difficulties, PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR REGISTRATION FORM AND MAIL IT BACK WITH A NOTE ATTACHED AND I WILL CONTACT YOU TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. We here at St. Michael's take this economic difficulty very seriously and will help in anyway that we can. If your child will be entering the First grade in September and you are a register parishioner of St. Michael's it's time for Religious Education. Please contact Patty at 732-483-0360 ext. 10 if you are interested in attending classes in the Fall. 2010 7th Grade Confirmation Students and Parents:Confirmation interviews will be held for Sunday students on Sunday, April 18th starting at 9:30 am and for Tuesday students on Tuesday, April 20th starting at 3:30 pm. Both will be held at the Deal School. Parents please make sure your child is studying and is prepared. If your child will be entering the First grade in September and you are a register parishioner of St. Michael's it's time for Religious Education. CHARLIE’S ANGELS We have a program for children ages 2-6 years old! The children will participate in their own exciting bible program that will include music, movies, stories, crafts, and games! If you would like more information or would like to volunteer to help with this program, please contact Jessica Jurcisin at 908-489-8258 If you are interested in helping out at CCD and volunteering as a teacher or teacher’s aide, call Patty at 732-483-0360 Ext. 10.
