Club News & Notes ART AUCTION: The Art Auction has been scheduled for July 24th at Mike Doolan’s. The Auction will benefit "Friends of Special Children". The Preview will begin at 6:00pm and the Auction will begin at 7:00pm. Hor dervues will be served and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are now available for advance sale. The price is $12 per person. The cost of tickets at the door will be $15 per person. Speak with Amy Gallagher for further details.
THE WINE & CHEESE TASTING PARTY was attended by about
34 people. If you invited a prospective member, please invite the prospect to join us for
one of our breakfast meetings. A written invitation to attend a breakfast meeting will be
sent to those prospects which responded to the mailing. We expect the invitations to be
sent the week of May 18th.
Preliminary numbers suggest that the Club made a profit of about $285 from the Wine & Cheese Party. Mary Anne Louhier will present the "financials" after they are finalized.
A notice was placed in the Coast Star requesting potential candidates to submit an application for our Scholarships.
The Club needs members to volunteers for the following positions as committee chairs:
If you are interested in becoming a committee chair, please let one of the Club Officers know.
RYLA is looking for candidates. If you know of a junior in High School that might be interested, please let a Club Officer know.
The Club Officers will make the "new meeting format" schedule available as soon as it is finalized.
The Installation Dinner has been tentatively scheduled for the evening of Wednesday June 4th to be held at Alexus in Brielle.
