**When I saw Bobby Darin perform live, he mentioned that his TV show (in the early 70's) was a dream come true for him. His chance came when he was given the coveted summer replacement show for Dean, then NBC gave Darin his own time slot.

**Dean and Raquel first appeared together on the Hollywood Palace, then went on the make a great Western, Bandolero, together with James Stewart and George Kennedy.

**Tony Martin's wife, Cyd Charisse, co-starred in The Silencers with Dean and Stella Stevens. She played the singer who gets shot on stage and hands the microfilm to Stella.

**Dean and the Duke made two great Westerns together, The Sons of Katie Elder and the GREAT Rio Bravo, now both considered classics. Dean also got the Duke to appear on his TV show, and even sing a little (just the last few words of a song, but singing none the less).

**Dean and Ursula Andress starred together in Four For Texas, along with Frank Sinatra, Anita Ekberg (who also had a part in the Martin & Lewis film Hollywood or Bust), and Charles Bronson before he really hit it big. The Three Stooges also made a brief appearance, with Dean joining in the Stooges old standard of standing next to each other with Dean slapping them all across the face in one sweep.

**Shirley MacLaine appeared with Dean in many films, including All in a Night's Work,Ocean's 11, What a Way to Go, and Career. She has some nice things to say about Dean in her autobiography.

**Dean and Frank made a guest appearance in the Hope/Crosby film Road to Hong Kong. Hope and Crosby made a similar appearance in the Martin & Lewis film Scared Stiff.
