Navesink River Rowing
has a long history of successful competition in major East Coast regattas
(see Results).
Recently, master’s level (over 28
year’s of age) singles sculler, Mark Malone won the Danzeisen Cup for
“fastest sculler on the river” at the Cooper River Cup regatta in Camden, NJ. At the 2007 Master's
National Regatta in Tennessee, he won all four races he entered, then
topped that performance in 2008 in San Diego.
Youth rowers Emily Crosby and
Kathryn Lowry took 4th place in the double at the 2006 Junior
National Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio and improved to take the
third place medal in 2007. An NRR girl's quad also qualified for
Nationals that year. (See

While many of NRR’s competitive scullers
row their own singles, the club owns a number of boats for racing:
