Starting in 1996, on Memorial Day, a long awaited dream of mine came true...the band whose music & lyrics helped me through the good times, and bad times of my life, reunited after some 20 years. For me, this was one of the most exciting times of my life, and to this day in 1998, as Liz and I continue to attend concerts, the excitement continues....for this band...The American Band, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD is back, and I along with many other fans can only thank Mark Farner, Don Brewer and Mel Schacher for allowing this to happen. And in late 2000, a new GFR has emerged: Don Brewer, Mel Schacher, Max Carl, Bruce Kulick and Tim Cashion.... and the music and legend lives on. Thanks also to Sunny, Dena, DJ, Tim L. and everyone connected with this amazing resurgence of the best Rock band in the land.....Grand Funk Railroad.
