There may be times when emergencies, such as severe weather, fires, power failures, or earthquakes, disrupt normal business operations at Ideal. We may even have to close a work facility.
If we decide to close AFTER the workday has already started, your supervisor will officially notify you. You will not be paid for the time off. However, you may request to use any available paid time off you have, such as vacation. If we decide to close BEFORE the workday starts, you will be paid for the time off.
If an emergency closing is not authorized and you do not report for work, you will not be paid for the time off. You may request to use any available paid time off you have, such as vacation.
