Business Meeting Minutes July 20,1996

The meeting was called to order by Ann Juranek, President at 4:00 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Anne. A welcome speech was given by Ann and she requested ideas for events for next year's reunion.

A "twirling" workshop and golf were mentioned at this time. Self introductions of all the family members followed. It was moved by Jack Campbell and seconded by Dale U. von Rosenberg to dispense with the reading of the Minutes. The Treasurer's report was prepared by Glenn von Rosenberg and given by William von Rosenberg. It was moved by Wayne Scholz to accept the treasurer's report, Jack Campbell seconded, and the motion passed. Dale U. von Rosenberg presented the following historian's report:

Under Old Business, Wayne Scholz, Secretary explained that several family tree worksheets have been received. Wayne said that he would be placing the information in a computer database that he has created. Much more is needed in order to meet the projected date of 1999 for Volume III. Glenn von Rosenberg gave an update on the sale of the family's Cookbook and encouraged everyone to keep selling because the remaining inventory can help finance Volume III. Darlyn Bechtol Cartwright will survey the members present and decide what future orders of the Family T-shirts should be placed. Glenn von Rosenberg presented a list of known inventory of the Family's books and publications. He encouraged all members to send a list of inventory items you have in to the family Treasurer, William von Rosenberg, III.

Under New Business, it was announced that a certified life guard was now required by Camp Lone Star. A life guard can be provided by the camp for $55 per day. In the future, the family can supply its own life guard by a family member who brings their certificate. It was also discussed whether the Family could have an "E-Mail" address created for members to communicat. Also under New Business, a motion was made and seconded that the Family Reunion be held at Camp Lone Star on July 18 - 20 next year. This motion passed after some discussion.
